He gasps, head bending forward as he keeps sliding down, straining to move steadily instead of stopping. That's more than he's taken in a long, long time and Anders' breathing is strained the whole slide in. Once down he has to stop and catch his breath. His hair's fallen in his face, sticking there, and his thighs are trembling.

"I will... do my best." His voice is strained as he starts to move again at a much slower pace than before.
