It certainly gives the ego a boost, the feeling of making Anders come on his fingers alone. Nathaniel kisses him until it is over, then slides his fingers gently out and rubs soothing circles on Anders' thigh.
"That was magnificent," he sighs against his lover's lips. "You were gorgeous."
Several moments pass before he can make much of a response. They're spent with shaky breathing and limbs and just leaning against Nate before he opens his eyes and gives Nate a tired smile.
"And you were masterful," he murmurs eventually. "You work... You work my body like no one else ever has." He's spent, absolutely spent, and it feels fantastic. "I don't think I'll ever move again. I'm going to lay here now forever."
"You're going to lie here now forever," Nathaniel corrects without thinking, then quickly reconsiders. "Sorry."
Oghren usually gives him an earful when he does that. At least he's catching it himself these days. Of course probably the worst time to slip up like that is in bed.
Nate gets a look that's somewhere between amused and incredulous.
"Well, I was considering being truthful, but if you insist, I'll lie with you forever." In the most mature show of anything ever, Anders sticks out his tongue. "I just came twice and you're getting after me for grammar. Really, Nate."
"At least now I know who to turn to when I take up writing again. You can catch any errors for me." It's only half-teasing, there's a question in there as well. Nate has the clearer head on his shoulders, no matter how Anders has his mind to himself again.
