Howe? [ In addition to my being lazy, this is coming to Nathaniel via crystal because Alistair is still on the long trail between Skyhold and Camp Shady. ] We're being evicted.
I think so. If we leave with them I'm sure they'll make room for us on their ships if we need them to. We pack light. Other than the griffons, I suppose they're a bit bulky— [ thinking aloud; he stops. ] We have supplies and probably coin locked up in Montsimmard and Vigil's Keep, don't we? And we could always requisition something. Hate doing that, though.
We've apparently lost every drop of respect we ever had. We shouldn't compound it by making leeches of ourselves.
[This sigh is more of a huff.]
Damn it all, Alistair. We try to do good, we try to be better, and we get told to move along. Whatever we've been trying, it hasn't worked. We've, we've not been heroic enough or honorable enough, just freeloaders clinging to our baby griffons and promising everyone that we'll matter eventually. And here I've been thinking finding Jonas will make a difference, when he hasn't bothered to show up in years even if he's still alive. And all he'd do is remind people of what we used to do for them.
Aw, I don't think it's anything to have your feelings so hurt over. They're moving a lot of people to Kirkwall. I assume it isn't because they hate all of them.
And this way, you know—we might be getting away with protecting your husband, but we won't be doing it right there at their headquarters, with every noble and Chantry official who comes visit walking right past our camp.
Right. Instead, Anders will be around the places that created some of his very worst memories. Though the tactical vantage point is nothing to be sniffed at. At least we won't be crossing a sea to reach the Anderfels.
We can send him somewhere else if you want. He likes deserts, doesn't he?
[ But Jackie probably wouldn't like dropping the game, so here we are. ]
I think it will be good. Not crossing the sea, that's good. We're nearer where all of this went wrong. And I don't think our hanging around Skyhold has been any better for our reputation than for theirs. There isn't anything for us here but waiting.
crystal for laziness' sake.

Please tell me they haven't told us to go to Kirkwall with the rest of their people. I hate Kirkwall.

They've asked us to, the best place to combine our efforts something something. Very polite.

It's not a bad idea. But do we have the resources for that move?
